The Facility & Merritt

The Merritt Golf and Country Club is owned by the city and leased to the membership.  It is located in the heart of Merritt, BC where scenic hillsides can be seen in all directions.

A nine-hole course with the yardages stretching over 6200 yards. It provides two separate sets of tee boxes distinguishing the front and back nines. The Nicola river factors into play 6 times per 9 holes and putting can be enjoyed on our luscious, smooth rolling greens.

Merritt is an outdoor person's dream.  With one of the most hours of sunshine in the country and hundreds of lakes within a short distance.  It's a paradise for Hiking, Biking, Fishing and of course, Golf.  The city has also invested in community recreational facilities to assist in providing 12 months of active lifestyle.

While small towns are not for everyone, nor are huge metropolitan city centers.  If you would find an 8,000 person community appealing, then Merritt might be for you and your family.  Kamloops, a city with over 100,000 residents is only 30-45 minutes away and downtown Vancouver is less than 3 hours drive.
